Millions of people around the world have heard of or watched the famous reality TV show, Duck Dynasty. Now, in The Theft of America’s Soul, the father of them all, Phil Robertson, shares his story as well as the lies that are destroying our country and the truths that will set it free. As a young adult Robertson shares the many mistakes he made; from making his wife leave, to drugs, and depression. After hitting rock bottom and almost losing his wife to divorce, Phil Robertson gave his life to Jesus Christ who completely turned his life around. After coming to this realization, Robertson started traveling the United States, inspiring people of all ages before also helping birth the TV show Duck Dynasty. Told with wit and humor and from the lips of a true hillbilly, The Theft of America’s Soul gives a unique look on how to get America back on track.

I have never watched the show Duck Dynasty, yet I have seen their faces and branding all over the place. On books, hunting equipment, duck calls, shirts, and other merchandise; the people behind the show have definitely made an impact. I think it is so cool that the Robertson family have taken a stand against Gay marriage and abortion, and never backed down. Phil Robertson’s book was a true show of his firm stand in his Christian faith. America needs more people like him–who will stand up for what they believe.
