10 Suggestions

20190126_095126_0000

Every book on here I have read from cover to cover, and most of them I have read more than once. Every movie as well, I have watched from beginning to end. These are the suggestions that I have found and picked out specifically from 100s of read books and watched movies.

BOOK SUGGESTIONS

  1. Hiding in the Light by Rifqa Bary
  2. Courage to Soar by Simone Biles
  3. Life Without Limits by Nick Vujicic
  4. Don’t Eat the Marshmallow…Yet! by Joachim de Posada
  5. Seeking Allah Finding Jesus by Nabeel Qureshi
  6. Unbroken by Laura Hildenbrand
  7. Love Your Life Not Theirs by Rachel Cruze
  8. Sometimes You Win Sometimes You Lose Learn for Teens by John C. Maxwell
  9. What’s So Great About America by Dinesh D’Souza
  10. How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

MOVIE SUGGESTIONS

  1. Hacksaw Ridge
  2. Priceless
  3. October Baby
  4. I’m Not Ashamed
  5. Unbroken
  6. Persecuted
  7. Schiendlers List
  8. Gods Not Dead
  9. Risen
  10. Alone Yet Not Alone

I enjoyed all of these movies eminsely, however some were hard to finish. Hacksaw Ridge and Scheindlers List were especially hard to watch since they are R rated and had alot of disturbing images. Hacksaw Ridge had a lot of grisley gore and violence, however I was able to watch the whole thing without looking away. Scheindlers List on the other hand, was a bit harder to watch. I had to look away several times due to the horrific events of the Holocaust.  One event especially I remember I had to look away was because all the Jews were being made to parade around naked while the Nazis looked on and laughed. I had to look away during this scene because I just couldn’t bare to watch it.

Hey Ani! I was wondering if you read the Acknowledgements and the prologue and the epilogue of a book…I don’t because I think they are boring.

I read the epilogue, but not anything else. I agree, they are boring!
